Today we went to Lettermans for breakfast. The amount of food we got was huge! Since the dinner was small we split up into groups and shopped while waiting. Some of us went to a bath boutique. Where we had our own scents created. Others of us went to an antique shop that had a whole bunch of cool stuff. There were old locks, ice cream scoops, and even a very old camera.
After we traveled to Kutztown University, we got some helpful advice on our art work from one of Miss Hannay’s professors. Once we were done talking to the professor we toured around the campus looking at artwork and asking students about their work. We also toured the music department and listened to music ensembles. We stopped at Ritas and Dunken Donuts for a quick snack to hold us over till dinner. Ritas is a small little place that sells Italian Ice, custard, and more.
At around 6 p.m. we went to the Sight and Sound Theatre where we watched Samson. The performance was stunning. They had props and lighting that really added to the show; when the temple fell they had props all around the audience falling, adding to the effects. Also the live animals brought even more life to the show! The show was very enlightening to the fact that God uses our weaknesses in his strength. That no matter how strong or weak we are God can use us. After the show we went to Red Robin. Most of us got burgers but a few had good looking salads. We laughed and had tons of fun.
The day was a blast!
