In the morning most of us reheated our huge breakfast from the day before from Letterman's. We then went to the goggle place for glass making and we looked at some really nice paintings from a Russian artist,Ilya Lerner and a couple other other pieces. Most of her pictures were religious and featured random body parts, hourglasses and senators. After looking around the art gallery we Headed over to building 5 which is the glass making building. We each took turns making glass bowls. In the pictures you can see the process we used with the help of the experience glass blowers! We got to be hands on with some of the process, like tuning the rod and holding the bowl upside down to create the flower effect on the bowls. After completing that, we went to a Chinese buffet, it was great, the food was good and we really enjoyed it. Especially getting to open the fortune cookies and just bonding with one another. We shared a good amount of jokes! After filling our bellies , we got back in the van and headed towards Risslers. Risslers is a cute farm owned by Mennonites whom are friends with Ms.Hannays parents. We got to take a horse buggy ride around their very big property. Then we went inside the house and got to see blanks wonderful quilt work and drink some fresh pressed apple cider! Some of us also enjoyed swinging on the rope inside the hay barn. We also went on walks in the meadows and near a pond where we saw a female and male swan. The male swan came out and showed off his feathers. Everything was cozy and homie. After this we took a short shopping stop at Walmart. Where we all had 45 min free time inside to buy what we please! Since we had a bit extra free time we headed back to the common place where we hung out and rested before heading back out for this evenings show. Before going to the show, we went to a trendy cafe across the street from the theatre. The theatre was called the Folton and we enjoyed watching Sister Act. The show was amazing. The actors and singers were so talented, and made us laugh, clap and also brought some of us to tears. It was a moving experience to be part of their final showing of such a great performance! And that was our amazing ending to our amazing day!
